The Recreation Road Development scheme, led by Stepnell, brings together several sites to create a new three-plot residential scheme incorporating social housing, retirement living and care.

Having completed the initial phase social housing scheme for Bromsgrove District Housing Trust, our extensive experience in the care sector led to a second contract with Care UK, the UK’s largest independent provider of health and social care.

The resulting, £6.7m, purpose- built, four-storey care home provides full time residential, nursing and specialist dementia for up to 81 residents, with facilities including a cinema, café, hairdressing salon, as well as hobby and leisure spaces. Secure, fully-accessible, landscaped, outdoor areas also integrate sensory gardens, water features and seating.
